Venus Williams and Andrea Preti sealed their union with a five-day celebration in Palm Beach as friends and family gathered to mark the moment.

The 45-year-old tennis legend confirmed the Florida festivities on social media, capping a year that mixed a court comeback with two wedding ceremonies and visible family support.

Reports say the couple staged a second U.S. ceremony because their first marriage in Italy, held in September, can take months to become official through paperwork and international processing.

The relationship began at Milan Fashion Week in 2024, according to Vogue, where the pair struck up a connection that led to texting, dates and an engagement in Tuscany on Jan. 31.

Venus has been quoted saying a spontaneous feeling convinced her the match was right, and the couple confirmed an intimate life together after first meeting in Italy and later sharing breakfasts in London.

Andrea Preti is described in coverage as a Danish-born Italian model and actor whose credits include writing, acting and directing on primarily Italian film projects listed on IMDB.

On court, Venus returned to singles competition and in July became the second-oldest woman to win a tour-level singles match, a milestone that followed a 16-month gap from tournament play.

After that comeback win at the DC Open, Williams said, “Yes, my fiance is here, and he really encouraged me to keep playing,” crediting Preti with emotional support through the grind of returning to competition.

The 45-year-old champion is also planning a continued presence on tour, announcing intentions to play what will be a 33rd straight season on the WTA Tour, with the season scheduled to begin in Auckland in January.
